Emidio Pepe Wine Cave

The 2022 Emidio Pepe Vintage Has Landed!

The wait is finally over! The 2022 Emidio Pepe Vintage Has Landed. A truly remarkable release you won’t want to miss! Founded in 1899, the Pepe family estate spent most of its early history cultivating high-yield vineyards and selling grapes to the local cooperative. Everything changed in 1964, when Emidio Pepe recognised that their fruit was far too exceptional to give away, inspiring him to embark on producing wines of his own. At first from just a single hectare of vines. Today, the estate spans roughly 17 hectares, yet it remains dedicated to the same artisanal principles. We are pleased to present the 2022 vintage from Emidio Pepe. A warm spring, late pruning, and timely summer rains shaped a rapid yet balanced growing season, with balanced ripening and vibrant fruit. An early harvest and the estate’s return to traditional hand-destemming helped preserve pristine berry character. The result is a collection of elegant, finely tuned wines that reflect this year’s unique conditions.   The New Arrivals.White 2022 Trebbiano d’Abruzzo 2022 IGT Colli Aprutini Pecorino ~ Red 2022 Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Casa Pepe 2022 Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Branella
Mare Nostrum Vini

Mare Nostrum Vini

Discover Mare Nostrum Vini, crafted by visionaries Antoine Isenbrandt and Athénaïs de Béru. Mare Nostrum Vini is a cultural wine project celebrating the Mediterranean through its coastal vineyards, native grape varieties, and shared traditions. They connect winemakers across the region, working organically, and often biodynamically, with historic white grapes shaped by the sea’s influence; salt, wind, sun, and soul. Each cuvée is named after a wind, blowing where the grapes grow, often in dialect or local language, serving as a geographic anchor for their wines.

The Wait Is Over! Gut Oggau 2023 Has Landed.

The 2023 vintage from Gut Oggau has landed, and it’s everything we hoped for: bright, biodynamic, and beautifully expressive. These natural Austrian wines are perfect for summer sipping. They are light, lively, and full of character. Right from the start, their approach was to work alongside nature and treat the soil and the vines gently and sustainably. They were astonished at how much character came through the barrels, even in their first vintage; each wine seemed so alive, beaming with its own personality, and so the Gut Oggau family was born. The portfolio is made up of three generations. The younger generation are planted on the gravel soils, which gives a more lively, youthful character to the wine. In contrast, the older generations come from vines planted in limestone and slate soils on the hillsides overlooking the village. We are delighted to introduce our Limited-Edition - Gut Oggau Wine Boxes: The Pink Ladies:A trio of expressive personalities, each shaped by distinct terroirs and rich with character and story. Meet the Family:We've created this limited edition wine box featuring six unforgettable personalities from Gut Oggau. Each bottle is a vibrant reflection of their biodynamic heritage, deeply rooted in Burgenland’s soils and crafted with soul. Limited stock available - order your box today!  For further information or to place your order, please emails us at [email protected] or visit our website.

Discover The 2022 Vintage From Château de Béru!

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of the highly anticipated 2022 vintage from Château de Béru. A year that captures the soul of Chablis with stunning precision, freshness, and depth. The Château de Béru is a historic wine estate located in Béru, near Chablis in Burgundy, France. The château dates back over 400 years. The Béru family has owned the estate since the 17th century. Today mother and daughter team, Laurence and Athénaïs, manage the Béru family estate. They replanted the vineyards and modernised production while embracing traditional methods, converting to biodynamic practices. In 2010, Athénaïs’ de Béru began her own project and has been producing wines in partnership with neighbouring farmers whose grapes are cultivated organically or biodynamically. These wines follow the same approach as Athénais wines from her own vineyards without use of additives, fully allowing the terroir to shine through! To celebrate the exceptional NEW 2022 Chablis vintage, we've curated 3 exclusive boxes just for you. Quantities are limited and demand is high, so don’t miss the opportunity to add this 2022 vintage to your collection.  To view our exclusive wine boxes, click here.
Rosé Line-Up

Rosé Line-Up

We've put together a selection of four fresh and vibrant rosés to keep you cool, including a sparkling that's quite literally charged with energy, a zippy fresh Gamay reminiscent of sour English sweets and a "fatally" seductive and downright dangerous bottle that won't stop staring at us.

DANJOU BANESSY

Extraordinary - Danjou-Banessy, Roussillon, France

We are delighted to share outstanding scores for Domaine Danjou-Banessy... Reviewed by Tamlyn Currin for JancisRobinson.com in her article Roussillon Proudly Independent part 1 and part 2. Danjou- Banessy sit comfortably at the top with the highest reviews for both the white and red wines. Tamlyn’s rich and descriptive reviews take you to the heart of the Roussillon as if you were sitting in the shade amongst the ancient vines with Sébastien drinking the wines yourself. Tamlyn points out that the way the Roussillon has been so overlooked is one of the “biggest travesties of the wine world” as she discovers the almost “perturbing grace” that these wines can have. “The best of them, from the oldest vines in harsh mountain vineyards, are strikingly introvert, perfumed, bafflingly fine-boned. (…) with a linear core of freshness that makes the wines taste incomprehensibly cool. Can a wine like this really come from the hot Agly Valley?” she says. But it is the white-wine vineyards that captured her heart. "When people ask where my favourite wine region is, I send them straight to Roussillon and tell them to look for the white wines.” Known for sweet industrial wines, the region is now producing “some of the most exciting wines imaginable. Not only that, but these old vines are remarkably resilient, quite possibly holding valuable genetic keys to climate-change adaptability.” Tamlyn explains that the region is one of France's “most forward-thinking” regions, which “leads the way in organic production not just in France but in Europe. The Roussillon producers I have got to know, make their wines with laser integrity – they love and manage their vineyards and make their wines the way that they live their lives. No pretence, no pretentiousness, no marketing bullshit, hard slog, love, no compromise.” We have included reviews for wines where we have stock. For those of you who were quick, you may be interested to learn that for the whites and skin contact wines, the 2018 La Truffière received 18 points, while the Supernova skin contact 2020 received 17 points. For the reds, 2017 Les Myrs – 18 points and 2017 La Truffière – 17 points, If you would like more detailed reviews, please get in touch or head over to JancisRobinson.com to read the full article.
