Mare Nostrum Vini, a project Inspired by a childhood spent growing up along the mediterranean coast, was founded by Antoine Isenbrandt and Athénaïs de Béru . Each of the wines come from carefully selected vineyards starting in the South of France and expanding across the Mediterranean. The wines all have a common link, each is named after the wind that influences the region from which they come and plays a crucial role in the character that can be discovered in each bottle.

Siróc: the wind that blows from the deep south, carrying the warmth and sand of the Sahara, along with its exotic aromas. The Siróc touches every shore of the Mediterranean, just like Muscat grapes, which are found all along its coasts — from the Spanish islands to Greece, and even Egypt, where they are often eaten as table grapes.

Terroir: 55 year old vines, guyot trained, 380m altitude on ancient riverbed soil.

Vinification: 60% Muscat Blanc a Petit Grain and 40% Muscat d’Alexandria is hand harvested. The Muscat Blanc a Petit Grain is vinified as whole bunches and spends 9 days in contact with the skins, Muscat d’Alexandria is destemmed. Fermentation is spontaneous with indigenous yeast. The wine is then blended and left to mature for 24months in old oak barriques with the fine lees before bottling.
