VDF "Secmillon" (White) 2023

A distinctive, natural white with a textured yet fresh profile. Combines citrus and stone fruit notes with hints of dried herbs and a lightly oxidative, savoury edge. Medium-bodied with balanced acidity and a layered, slightly wild character.

Terroir:

Sourced from vineyards in southwest France, with clay-limestone soils that provide structure and minerality.

Age of the vines:

From mature vines, contributing depth and concentration.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts, often with some skin contact. Aged in neutral vessels with minimal intervention, no fining or filtration, and very low sulphur.

Food pairing:

Roasted poultry, creamy cheeses, mushroom dishes, and richer seafood preparations.
