Touraine Amboise "Les Ormeaux" (White) 2023

A cuvée that pays homage to the Elm trees (Les Ormeaux) that were prevalent in Coralie & Damiens Amboisian vineyards before being devastated by Graphiosis disease in 1925.

Vinification: Vines planted in 2020, in clay-based soil with flint over limestone are harvested by hand. Grapes are directly pressed, and the juice is transferred into barrels. The fermentation begins spontaneously and continues slowly throughout winter and finishes in spring. The wine remains in barrel for 18month before bottling.
