Bourg "A Broglie" (Red) 2022

Renowned winemaker Olivier Rivière has crossed over the Pyrenees, leaving his Rioja estate under the watchful eye of his brother and is heading back to his roots in Bordeaux.

The À Brogli cuvée comes from a 1-hectare parcel of sandy soils over a limestone and sandstone subsoil.

Vinification: 100% Merlot, harvested by hand. 1/3 is fermented as whole-cluster, the rest is with soem pumping over. The wine spends 16months maturing 1/3 in concrete eggs, 1/3 in foudres and 1/3 in old oak barrels.
