Mare Nostrum Vini, a project Inspired by a childhood spent growing up along the mediterranean coast, was founded by Antoine Isenbrandt and Athénaïs de Béru . Each of the wines come from carefully selected vineyards starting in the South of France and expanding across the Mediterranean. The wines all have a common link, each is named after the wind that influences the region from which they come and plays a crucial role in the character that can be discovered in each bottle.

Mistral: the dominant wind of the Languedoc — cold and dry, blowing from the due north. It drives winegrowers mad in winter during pruning, but when vine growth season arrives, it’s this wind that ensures a healthy, disease-free harvest.

Terroir: 20 year old vines, trained goblet style on clay-limestone soils.

Vinification: 100% Carignan Blanc is hand harvested and pressed directly. Fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeast. The wine is then aged for 18months on fine lees in 350L old oak barrels before bottling.
