This is the entry-level Sauvignon Blanc from La Grange Tiphaine, from fruit in and around Amboise. It is fresh and aromatic, with citrus and tropical fruit with a mineral structure. A ripe, easy drinking style that is as versatile as it is attractive.

Damien and Coralie Delecheneau, the winemaking team behind La Grange Tiphaine, have played a pivotal role in the revival of quality wines from the Touraine. There are an array of grapes permitted across the various appellations, but the couple went through each of their parcels and to find the ideal match of the soul of the terroir and the traditional grapes. They feel they have found this some plots in Amboise and Sauvignon blanc vines. Trinqu’ames translates to “drink the soul or drink with soul”, both sentiments they find fitting for this cuvée.

Vinification: From 25-year-old vines on clay and limestone. Grapes are are hand harvested, then fermented and aged in a stainless steel tank. Bottled the spring following the harvest.

Match it with: Great as an aperitif with crudités or cheese snacks, any fresh seafood or a steamed white fish with capers.
