Description
Dark berries, but light in texture and colour (think, jam on toast!) - endlessly drinkable!
This is a red wine made in collaboration with Salva Batlle and David Pujol Cargol.
A blend is a co-ferment of 60% Garnacha, 40% Carignan, organically grown on the "Masarac" vineyard in the Alt Empordà region on sandy-alluvial soils at 40m in elevation. Grapes are hand harvested, carbonic maceration on the Garnacha grapes, and fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Aged in bottles without fining, filtering, or any SO2 additions.
