A great introduction to sweet wines, this is Souch’s more exotic and lighter style of Moelleux. The blend is equally split between the two Manseng grapes. Razor-sharp acidity balances the sweetness of the late harvest grapes.

Story: For more than thirty-five years Domaine de Souch has been a leader in a modern style of Jurançon wines. Organic and Biodynamic since 1994, the southern-facing terraced vineyards are carved into steep slopes facing the Pyrenees Mountains. This cuvée was designed to be an lighter wine that could be consumed from just one year after harvest.

Vinification: Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng parcels situated 332 meters above sea level. Soils are called Poudingues of Jurançon which are clay with silt and sand soils. Vinified in thermo-regulated stainless steel to maintain freshness, then given a short time in oak with quick battonage. 60-70 grams of residual sugar. Potential ageing for 10 to 15 years. Best enjoyed at 12°C to 14°C

Match it with: Creamy or sheep cheeses, as an apéritif or with a carmelised fruit dessert.
