This Bordeaux rosé is made by a family who makes wines that have been scientifically tested to be purer than water. The nose is fresh and floral, with red fruit aromas alongside notes of peonies and white flowers. On the palate, Rose-Marie is light and playful, with tannins so light they are barely detectable.

Terroir: Clay-silt with clay-limestone substrate on the rocky plateau of St-Emilion.

Match it with: Grilled lamb chops & a summer salad.

Average age of vines: 50 years old.

Vinification: This is a "Rosé de saignée" (bleeding). The wine is taken out from a fermented tank of Merlot after few hours (once the colour is extracted enough). The fermentation by dynamisation happens in old oak barrel. The wine is bottled without fining, filtering and without any addition of sulphites.
