Energy and longevity in a bottle! On the nose you are greeted with intense wild berries and dark chocolate, supported by vibrant acidity and well balanced and integrated tannins.
Saša, son of the late Stanko Radikon introduced this cuvée to the Radikon portfolio. RS being short for Rosso Saša. Following the techniques of his great grandfather, this cuvée is made from juices that spends at least 7 days in contact with the skins leading to a much more flavour filled wine!
Vines: Merlot, Pignolo
Vinification: Berries are pressed directly, and vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks using only indigenous yeasts. The wine is left to mature for 12 months in the same tanks before being bottled.
Match it with: Slow cooked lamb and wild mushrooms!
