Rich, intense and elegant are 3 words that come to mind when tasting this wine. Ripe berry fruit character and chocolate notes come through from the Merlot, whilst Pignolo adds weight and spice!

Saša, son of the late Stanko Radikon, introduced this cuvée to the portfolio. RS being short for Rosso Saša. Following the techniques of his great grandfather, this cuvée is made from juice that spends at least 7 days in contact with the skins leading to a much more flavour filled wine!

Vines: Merlot, Pignolo

Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand and vinification takes place spontaneously using only indigenous yeasts. The wine macerates with the skins for 2 weeks before pressing and being left to mature in 35 hectolitre oak barrels for 18 months. The wine is then bottled unfined, unfiltered with no additional sulphur.
