"Roc'h Avel" means "the rock of the wind", a small island off the Brittany coast. 

This cuvée from Terre de L'Elu is an exciting bouquet of liquorice and fennel to begin, leading
to ripe pear and fresh almonds. A saline freshness and aniseed flavour on the palate. Full-bodied, yet at the same time tender and elegant. 

Serve around 12°C. Ready for drinking now, will keep up to ten years.

Match it with: Shellfish and seafood, but also fresh goat’s cheese with olive oil and herbs.

Average age of vines: 70 years old from L'Aiglerie parcel. 

Vinification: The grapes are hand-harvested // Direct press of whole bunch // Natural fermentation
(indigenous yeast) in vats // Aged for 10 to 12 months on fine lees in vats (no batonnage).
