Intensely rich and full of energy, wild berries and spice jump out on the nose, while firm but well integrated tannins accompanied by fresh acidity round off the palate.
Saša, son of the late Stanko Radikon introduced this cuvée to the Radikon portfolio. RS being short for Rosso Saša. Following the techniques of his great grandfather, this cuvée is made from juices that spends at least 7 days in contact with the skins leading to a much more flavour filled wine!
Vines: Merlot, Pignolo
Vinification: Berries are pressed directly, and vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks using only indigenous yeasts. The wine is left to mature for 12 months in the same tanks before being bottled.
Match it with: Slow cooked lamb and wild mushrooms!
