This Carignano has a lovely bite and a unique crispness: black fruits, thyme, fennel and slight leather notes are sustained by a distinct acidity. The soil is characterised by grey clays and schist, giving the Carignano a bold, expressive character. An enchanting wine that is to be shared!

Terroir: Grey clays and galestro (friable clay/limestone marl).

Age of vines: Vineyard planted between 2002-2004 at 250m above sea level.

Vinification: 15% whole-bunch fermentation // ageing 10 months in concrete vats // 4,00 bottles produced.
