A rich, complex 100% Cabernet Franc from the Cahors region. An explosion of fruit with dominant notes of blackberry and herbs. A rich texture and lots of acidity. A must-try for true Cab Franc lovers.

Story: Matthieu Cosse and Catherine Maisonneuve are leading a renaissance of the Cahors region. They share a vision of refined, elegant wines with a distinct personality. The duo have a real passion for Cabernet Franc and the dimension and texture of its wines. The grapes for this wine come from 60 year-old vines growing on iron-rich Red Siderolithe clay.

Vinification: Grapes are hand-harvested. The wine is naturally fermented with indigenous yeasts in a cement tank, and then aged for 16-24 months in old barrels. Unfined and Unfiltered.

Match it with: Duck Cassoulet, Lamb Stew, Pork Belly.
