Terroir: Grapes come from the oldest plot of the estate located in the Herrenweg of Wintzenheim. Alluvium soils is are covered with loess plating. Pale yellow in colour, very fine, sandy, calcareous and clayey. This type of terroir gives rise to dense and complex wines guided by fine and precise acidity.

Age of vines: 80 years old

Vinification: Grapes are hand-picked // fermentation takes place in stainless steel vat for 1 month followed by 2-3 months in wooden barrels // ageing on fine lees for 3 to 4 months. Ageing window 10 to 15 years.
