An elegant white from Emmanuel Giboulot that's rich in texture with an abundance of ripe pear & a touch of spice!

Terroir: The Mâconnais is the most southerly appellation in Burgundy. The grapes (of the Chardonnay variety) for this wine come from three different parcels a few hundred meters from the commune of Chardonnay.

Vinification: The grapes are all hand-picked and pressed before a 24 to 48 hour cold clarification // The clarified must ferments in large and previously used old oak vats, to preserve its purity and minerality // The wine is aged on its lees for 11 months before being bottled.
