Terroir: Gravel and early Jurassic limestone gravel-rich clay soils with blue marl.
Age of vines: 20-30 years
Vinification: Entirely hand harvested and gently pressed with a pneumatic press. A beautiful natural chardonnay from the 6.5-hectare clay and grey marl soil of Arbois, Jura, made with indigenous yeast and left 18 months on the lees, before being put into 2-15 year Burgundy barrels.
