Pecorino is an indigenous grape variety from the south of Marche and north of Abruzzo. Used to be grown in high altitudes, Pecorino is mellow and generous.

Terroir: Clay for 1.5m deep and then, limestone underneath. North facing vineyard.

Age of vines: Vineyard planted in 2006. First harvest in 2010.

Vinification: Grapes are hand-harvested // crushed by feet // spontaneous fermentation // ageing in concrete tank // sulphur < 60ml/L.
