One of the most authentic expressions of Sauvignon Blanc from its Loire homeland, and the unique silex terroir in Amboise. A wine of purity, freshness and balance. Peach, tangerine, citrus and white flowers atop a firm structure and a polished finish. Nothing is overpowering– just an excellent example of what great Sauvignon Blanc should be. Serve at 10-12°C and don’t hesitate to open a bit beforehand.

Damien and Coralie Delecheneau, the winemaking team behind La Grange Tiphaine are both musicians and share a love of music almost as deep as their love of wine. Musical references are common in many of their cuvées, and Quatre Mains (four hands) is a reference music done with four hands. This was the first wine the couple made together, with their own hands, and is their shared vision for the purest expression of Sauvignon Blanc on their silex soils.

Vinification: Fifty-year-old vines on red clay silex limestone. Grapes are hand harvested then fermented and and aged in old oak barrels. No lees stirring, with regular top-ups.

Match it with: Delicious for apéritif, on its own, or with raw fish or fresh shellfish.
