Following decades of stunning winemaking, Jacques Maillet has retired. The 2015 Mondeuse is a true testament to his work. The Mondeuse grape is considered the cool climate cousin of Syrah; this grape gives an incredible concentration of fruit and spice, making it a great alternative to red burgundy.

Average age of vines: 50 years old

Vinification: Whole-bunch maceration for 4-5 weeks // no pump over // no sulphites added during  vinification and ageing // ageing on the lees for 9 months // slight filtration // 1 g/hL sulphites added at bottling.
