Terroir: Unique terroir sometimes called "The small Senegal" as it's one of the warmest place in Alsace. Parcels surrounded by a rock barrier that protect the vines from East and North winds. South facing, grapes ripen perfectly.
Age of the vines: 40 years old
Vinification: The grapes were hand picked and whole-bunch pressed very slowly and gently in pneumatic presses over 5-8 hours. Natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Ages in stainless steel or big oak barrel depending on the vintage.
