Terroir: Clay and limestone soil with puddingstone, "Poudingue" in French.
Average age of vines: 35 years old
Vinification: Grapes are hand-harvested. The "Courbu" grape variety is harvested first as it ripens earlier. It's vinified in a stainless steel tank. Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng are harvested together (around Mid October) and vinified together. The wine is aged in old barrel with stirring the lees (batonnage) every week. In the Spring, they blend the Corbu and the Petit/Gros Manseng together in a stainless steel tank. Bottling happens at the end of the year.
