Terroir: Rocky clay limestone, altitude of 550m - DO Rioja Alavesa
Average age of vines: 5 years old
Vinification: Grapes are hand-harvested. Whole cluster pressing, natural yeast fermentation in foudre. The wine is then aged for 6 months in foudre and then for 12 months in two 600L former sherry butts (one Fino and one Amontillado).
