This is quite an emotional wine for the Fonterenza sisters as it comes from the first vines planted in 1999. The woodlands that surround it create a unique microclimate.
Average age of vines: 35 years old
Vinification: Grapes are hand-harvested and alcoholic fermentation is done in Slavonian oak barrels for 20 days, followed by a 90-day skin maceration. The wine is then aged barrels for 47 months. Non filtered.
