This is a pure and mineral Riesling with delicate spice, firm peach and some herbiness. It's youthful and well balanced, with a lovely airy quality.
Terroir: Parcels situated in the Herrenweg of Turckheim. Flat alluvial deposits of the Fecht are rich in clay (22%). The soil is predominantly of sand, shingle, and silt with a high incidence of pebbles and frequent plates of loess.
Age of the vines: 40 years old
Vinification: The grapes are hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed gently in pneumatic presses for 5-8 hours. Natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Ages in stainless steel or traditional large oak barrel depending on the vintage
