Emidio Pepe 60th Anniversary Dinner

The legendary Emidio Pepe Estate turns 60 this year and we’re determined to celebrate their anniversary in style!

In our world of biodynamic winemaking, this is quite a feat, as the past 60 years have seen such extensive agricultural change that to have stood the test of time, holding onto the nature-led principles of biodynamics and organics through it all is something to truly admire…

As the so called, “Green Revolution” took hold in the late 1960s across Europe, bringing with it a plethora of chemical and mechanical intervention, only the brave stood their ground. As a result, Pepe wines are quite rightly revered internationally, with expressive back-vintages that are entirely one-of-a-kind.

So, in honour of these six decades of hard work and creativity we’re hosting a one-off 5 course dinner with Chiara Pepe herself at our Bermondsey warehouse! Chiara will take guests through some exceptional wines, paired with a bespoke menu created for one night only by the estate chef Pietro La Rosa who is flying over to cook the menu himself!

Some things are worth celebrating, and this is one of them…
