Chef Sandy Jarvis opened the Culpeper back in June 2014. After working at Terroirs for 5 years, he decided to take on this new project. The Culpeper is a really interesting place: on the ground floor, a large pub offers a wide range of craft beers on tap and by the bottle. On the first floor, the restaurant serves "inventive yet fuss-free modern British food that is designed to comfort without resorting to crockery-bending quantity" {The Guardian}. On the top floor, the rooftop is one of our favourites little-gem where herbs and vegetables are grown!

Sandy Jarvis visited Henri Milan a couple of years ago, and he was really excited when he find out that Henri was coming to London. He has worked hard to create a bespoke menu that will match perfectly Henri Milan's wines.

Domaine Milan was created in 1956 by Robert Milan, Henri’s father. It was at the age of eight that Henri planted his first vine. Back then, the land was devoted to conventional farming methods. This was one of the big changes that were heralded when Henri took over in 1986. The land had been spoiled by excessive synthetic chemical treatments during the 1970s and early 1980s, so it was at this point the younger Milan moved towards organic production.

Henri is now worldwide famous for producing exquisite wines that you will be able to discover on this fabulous night. Expect to taste some very old vintages of his single parcel "Clos Milan". Can't wait!
