Mas Nicot

Owned by the Nicot family since 1773, the "Mas de Perry" is located in Murles. In the past, the 300ha of the Domaine were used for wood and sheep breeding. The milk produced was used to make the famous “Roquefort” cheese. It is only at the beginning of the XIXthcentury that the domaine was planted with vines. The first years were difficult because there is a microclimate in Murles with temperatures sometimes 10 degrees lower than in the surrounding villages. That is the reason why has been uprooted and replanted twice.

In 2004, Stéphanie takes over the Domaine and continues the work achived by her mother Genevieve since 1981. The Domaine is renamed “Mas de Nicot”. Stéphanie decides to highly restrict the production to allow the grapes to ripen before the heavy autumnal rain which often cause real damage to the crop. As a consequence she only produce 8000 bottles per year.

After 6 years working on the Domaine Mas Nicot  Stéphanie has achieved amazing quality wines in full respect of nature and the history of the place. Her wines have become some of Dynamic Vines’ best sellers.
